Once again, we find ourselves in pain and shock at yet another horrific result of hatred and violence, this time in our very own State. Our hearts grieve with all those directly affected by the tragedy in Orlando.  At the same time, we sadly recognize that we are ALL touched by such events that remind us of how our great nation still struggles daily with the diversity that is our strength in light of the blessings our freedom offers.

The work of organizations such as ours, and people of good will everywhere, becomes even more important and we recommit ourselves to doing all in our power to work with others to build greater understanding and foster mutual respect among all who live in our community.
