MCCJ was proud to partner with the Museum of Science in the presentation of this powerful traveling exhibit which addressed the myths and realities of race in our society. The event ran from December, 2013 to May, 2014. Special events and opportunities for dialogue were presented by MCCJ.

This experiential program takes MetroTown alumni into our community to learn from diverse leaders. In this second Institute youth will explore how race was used historically to divide our community and also explore how that legacy continues to effect our community today.

Dialogue

Our annual collaboration with the U.M. School of Education was scheduled for Martin Luther King Day, January 21, 2014 at the Miami Science Museum.  This year’s program explored race in society through an intergenerational dialogue.
