MCCJ trains educators in the pedagogical models and philosophical approaches that serve as the foundation of our inclusive leadership programs. These trainings focus on cultural competency, conflict resolution, facilitated dialogue, authentic youth engagement, and other components of diversity education. Conducted by MCCJ staff and local experts in the field, these professional development opportunities are designed both to prepare teachers and counselors to facilitate MCCJ youth programs, and also to provide educators with best practice methodologies that can be incorporated into their schools. In partnership with Dade County Public Schools, Master Plan Points are available for select trainings.
